Sanitary Pad Distribution
As part of our holistic approach of impacting students and communities across Ethiopia, we developed a plan to provide underprivileged girls with sanitary pads under our school supplies initiative. Along with our school construction project, we have collect information about bathroom and sanitary supplies and facility needs. The initiative to provide sanitary pads to the female students was initiated in 2022 and spearheaded by our long time TCOH supporter Miraf.
2025- Sanitary Pad Distribution
In 2025, 1,020 reusable sanitary pads were distributed, with Take Care of Home contributing 340 pads to the initiative. Together with our local partners and volunteers, we helped provide girls with greater access to menstrual products, supporting their comfort, confidence, and dignity.
2022- Sanitary Pad Distribution
With local teammate’s help who were able to fund and gather the pads. we supplied 475 girls at two different primary schools with reusable sanitary pads. We would like to extend our gratitude to our volunteers for taking the bulk of the work and allowing us to be educated in the process.
